6 minutes and 20 seconds of motoring art

The title says it all dear readers. I was blown away by the footage in this trailer for “Titan”, a film about the 1,000 KM of the Nurburgring (historic endurance race). What I really enjoyed is the variety of modern and historic race cars featured – even motorcycles. If racing could be squeezed into an art exhibit, this would be the featured installation.

1:00 why do they move like that! That was funny. I remembered KA from Jungle Book.

Actually Miss Good Egg, they move like that to put some heat into their tires on the warm up lap before the start of the race. Race spec tires lack needed grip if the temperature isn’t just right.

      Hope that makes sense.
