Peugeot SR1 Concept

Autocar have published photos of Peugeot’s new SR1 concept car. This roadster signals the beginning of Peugeot’s new design philosophy, and dare I say that I like where they’re going with it.

Steve Cropley, road tester at Autocar, mentions that the car’s front end has a strong resemblance to Aston Martins we see today. I agree. I also think that the Peugeot designers do a nice job of making it their own. The car will be powered by a four cylinder engine pumping out 240bhp, to the front wheels, while an electric motor driving the rear wheels will add another 80 bhp or so. Expect the concept to be shown at the Geneva show in March of this year.
