Leakage! Pagani C9 test mule

Pagani’s successor to the Zonda is constantly being spied and caught out in South Africa. The first test mule looked almost exactly like its predecessor, but then we started seeing more exposed images and it’s beginning to look a lot different.

This is obviously a test mule and we cannot assume that things will be left as is, but look at the parallel-lined headlight cluster. Doesn’t the downward-sloping front end remind you a bit of a Ferrari 599?

In the interior, the only clear piece in view is the steering wheel, which is definitely a newly designed item.

The rear end is where it gets interesting. The triple tail-light cluster is a new design. The engine cover provides a great central “tunnel” looking piece which I’m sure is beneficial to airflow around the car; it also leads to where the exhaust tips will exit out the back. According to Horacio Pagani, creator of the car, expect a 6-liter V12 bi-turbo pumping out 700 hp when the car arrives some time in fall of this year.

Now that is a very scary looking machine! This would be Batman’s other car!

I like how the South African Government Approved for it to be tested on the road! lol
