Ferrari’s hybrid technology explained

Ferrari took the wraps off its hybrid 599, the HY-KERS, during the Geneva Motor Show. Hybrid technology is quite a loose term nowadays, as there are so many different types and variations being used. The video below explains simply the concept behind the Italian marque’s first hybrid “vettura laboratorio”, or experimental vehicle in English.

    I have to say I’m not a Hybrid fan at all, but what ferrari and porsche (with the 918 concept) have done is winning me over as long as performance is not compromised I’m all for it …
