Steve McQueen’s legendary TAG Heuer watch

Well, it’s the watch that started it all for racing fans really. Anyone who is truly passionate about cars will know the legendary Steve McQueen, and his passion for TAG Heuer items; especially the Monaco watch he wore (pictured below).

TAG’s website reads: “In 1969, TAG Heuer broke with tradition by creating the first square-cased, water-resistant watch in the history of watchmaking. Powered by the famous Chronomatic Calibre 11, the Monaco is also the world’s first automatic chronograph. A year later, Steve McQueen chose to wear it in the 1970 car-racing classic film, Le Mans: on his wrist, it became an icon.”
