Toyota says FT-86 will make production as scheduled

According to reports, the Toyota FT-86 is on schedule for a November 2011 launch. It has been revealed that the production version is nearly 50% complete. The car will strongly resemble the concept version (above), but some small modifications will be applied as expected. Let’s hope the powertrain specs remain like the concept’s, which housed a Subaru 2.0-liter Boxer engine, 6-speed manual gearbox, and rear-wheel drive. The latter is the most important, considering this is the AE86’s successor.

Now that they have resurrected this machine, the Supra should be next up! They are real cult icons of Toyota!

The FT86 will bring back the wildfire of toyota from the good old days! They need to be more ballz with their products, not just playing it safe with Mass production shit!
