Bahrain goin’ old school with its track

For the 2010 season, the Bahrain International Circuit was increased in overall length from 5.412km to 6.299km with nine additional corners. The reason was that the organizers wanted to celebrate 60 years of the Formula One world championship. Unfortunately, the race turned out to be somewhat of a boring event, with the drivers stating that it added little to make the the race competitive. So… Bahrain is reverting back to the old 5.412km track layout next season (2011). I think it’s best.
