BBC loses in court… The Stig to publish his memoirs and unravel the mystery! *UPDATED

If you have read this blog in recent times, you will know that the BBC has been in a legal battle with The Stig from publishing his memoirs. Top Gear producers are worried that by revealing The Stig’s true identity, it would ruin the years of mystery and character development behind the man in the white overalls and helmet. Unfortunatley for the BBC, things have taken a turn for the worse as a judge has overruled the BBC’s injunction to keep The Stig from publishing the book. Expect to find out soon who The Stig really is!

Note: Ben Collins, who I’ve posted about recently and rumored to be The Stig, was seen leaving the courthouse after the ruling. Guess it really could be him.

UPDATE: Publishers HarperCollins said in a statement that a 33-year-old racing driver named Ben Collins “has a great story to tell about his seven years as The Stig, which will appeal to a wide audience beyond just motoring enthusiasts.” – [Source: Yahoo! News]
