Launched! 2011 Bentley Continental GT (w/video)

A few days ago, I posted some spy pics of the new Bentley Continental GT in the nude. Well now, here are the official images of the 2011 model. The body lines seem to have flared out a bit, giving the new GT a muscular yet elegant stance. The Mulsanne-inspired headlights fit right at home in the more-upright grille.

The GT will be powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine, which pumps out 567 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The engine is also blessed with flex-fuel capability accepting any combination of gasoline and E85. With the help of all-wheel drive and better aerodynamics, the Continental GT reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 318 km/h.

New to the options list, a year after launch, will be the offering of a 4-liter V8 engine which is expected to have high horsepower and torque output, yet appealing to the eco-conscious individual by getting better gas mileage than the W12 version.
