Renault F1 team transforming into “Lotus Renault GP”. Déjà Vu livery as well!

Starting 2011, the Renault F1 team will become known as “Lotus Renault GP” after agreeing a title-sponsorship deal with Group Lotus until 2017. Renault will continue to support the team as engine supplier, as well as through its technological and engineering expertise. As shown in the image above, the team will race in the legendary black and gold livery from the 1980s. Now, this is where things get a bit confusing: the other Lotus team (raced in green and yellow last season), known as Lotus Racing, will also compete next year using Renault power and carrying the “Team Lotus” name, so there will be two Lotus teams in F1 next season.
