Kuwait Concours d’Elegance 2011: Classic Car Parade

The Kuwait Concours d’Elegance classic car parade took place at Marina Crescent yesterday. There’s nothing like seeing these rare cars in motion, with the sights and sounds teleporting us back in time.

There was a pleasant crowd on hand, clapping and cheering on every car since these machines are all superstars in their own right.

A brief background was given when each car was driven up onto the stage.

It was great to see such a vehicle, owned locally, in great running condition (above).

I guess this is what the Marina Crescent parking lot would have looked like, had it been built back in the 60s & 70s (above and below).

    The 1972 Chevelle convetible pic is one of my Dad and I from the USA. GREAT PIC! Any chance of me getting a copy?
