Prince Alwaleed donates 1,000 cars to Jeddah flood victims

The Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation, chaired by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has donated 1,000 Kia cars to flood victims in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The foundation based its donations on the needs of the victims and found that many had lost their vehicles in the natural disaster.

The foundation also donated more than 10,000 household items such as air conditioners, washing machines, cookers, refrigerators and carpets which were distributed to the flood victims by 300 volunteers, as well as food and assistance in rebuilding homes and destroyed properties.

    Its very good that they have services and people such as this to help! I don’t know what they are doing these days to manage these floods!

      They definitely need to put in a plan to preempt a possibility of another major flood in the future (of course, inshallah it never happens again) as the infrastructure was not capable of handling it and many peoples livelihood were put at risk.
