Good use of Google Earth: mapping out the New Jersey F1 grand prix

The good ole’ U.S. of A has not hosted a Formula One grand prix since 2007. Forward a few years to 2013 and they’ll be hosting two: the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas (kicks off in 2012), and then the Grand Prix of America, New Jersey (2013).

Held along the banks of the Hudson River, the racing circuit is a 3.2-mile street course with the New York skyline as its backdrop. Visually, it should be a stunner. Let’s just hope it becomes home to some great racing as well. Watch the video after the jump.
