Nissan’s Juke-R coming to Dubai??? Yup!
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the Juke-R. The 480hp monster (or shall I say Godzilla?) was a recent exercise whereby a Nissan Juke received a transplant in the form of a Skyline GT-R’s engine, transmission and other mechanical / electrical bits.
And if you became a follower of the project as well, then I have some good news for you. You’ll get your chance to see it in person at the 2012 Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai endurance race. Hosted at the Dubai Autodrome (January 12-14, 2012), the Juke-R will guide a plethora of GT, touring and 24 hour-special race cars around the track as the event’s pace car.
This would be the first opportunity for people to see the car in person – a bonus considering you get to watch a bunch of race cars swap paint over 24 hours.

To be honest, i didn’t read the review at first but started writing a comment first, because I believe this must be the most hideous machine on the street at the moment and I like ugly cars vis-a-vis the Ferrari FF, the Z3 M, the Porsche 914, and the list goes on. Then I decided to skim through your review, and to be honest if they eliminate that bonnet light it might just be an ugly car 😀

I have a soft spot for the Juke-R. Then again, all the “ugly” cars you mentioned are beauties in my eyes 🙂

to b honest i’d rather pull my eyes out with dental strings than to buy this ugly piece of shame … even if it had a 10000 bhp i wouldn’t think of buying it

@il pazzo: LOL is it really that ugly? I guess it’s the mechanical work under the sheet-metal which really gets me going!
@Hamoud: “Marmite” lol Great analogy!

A normal Juke is not interesting to me but this beast with the GTR’s mechanicals and serious body kit sure gets my respect!
