Video: 2SC gets an exclusive experience like no other!

June 12, 2012

Ahdi Al Hunaif, a good friend and founder of the Austrian-based 2 Second Club, had the extremely rare opportunity of hustling a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse around the Paul Ricard Circuit in France. The people at Bugatti were also nice enough to let Ahdi and another member cruise some twisty French roads as well. The event was extremely exclusive as the two supercar club members were the only ones on track! Watch the experience after the jump. (more…)

The fun side to Abu Dhabi’s 2-seater F1 car experience

March 27, 2012

It has definitely been a slow week here on Brake Banzeen. Heck, it’s been a slow week pretty much everywhere in the auto news world! But I thought it would be good to show the other side to Yas Marina’s F1 2-seater experience in Abu Dhabi. If you remember a recent post of mine, I showcased a video of a woman being violently thrown around in the car because the pit crew didn’t properly secure her into the seat. Here is Harry Metcalfe’s (from evo Magazine) positive experience to counter that. Watch the video after the jump. (more…)

Video: Just how fast is an F1 car?

January 15, 2011

Just how fast is a Formula 1 car in comparison to a Porsche GT3 around the legendary and super fast Eau Rouge bend at the Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium? The following video tells all. I love these vids! Hit the jump to watch the video. (more…)

3D rendering of the new USA Formula 1 circuit surfaces

September 1, 2010

A 3D rendering of the new US Formula 1 track in Austin, Texas, has been revealed. The track is 3.4 miles long and will feature an elevation change of 133 feet. The track has drawn inspiration from other legendary tracks; for example, Turns 3 through 6 are reminiscent of the high speed Maggotts/Becketts complex at Silverstone, Turns 12 through 15 are similar to Hockenheim’s stadium area, and Turns 16 through 18 are very much alike the (more…)
