Melbourne-F1-2013-Speed-Comparison

It’s been done before. Only difference is, this one takes place on live TV and isn’t staged as frequently done for marketing & PR purposes. Nice to see Casey Stoner and Mick Doohan involved (normally pushing the limits on their race bikes), while David Coulthard resumes duty in the Red Bull F1 car. Enjoy the video after the jump. How Lewis Hamilton quickly went from “hero” to “zero”

October 9, 2012

Now that Lewis is moving to the Mercedes F1 team next season, it’s understandable that he’ll be feeling a bit insecure within McLaren F1. These next few months could be the loneliest ever for Hamilton. And it’s only going to get lonelier after these few tweets he recently posted on Twitter. As you can read from the one above, Lewis was shocked to find that Button had “unfollowed” him.

Lewis Hamilton moves to Mercedes… Sergio Perez to replace him

September 28, 2012

This is shocking news to me! Yes, I was fully aware that Lewis Hamilton’s contract negotiations with McLaren were a bit rocky, but no way did I think he would actually do it. Leaving McLaren to join Mercedes is a big deal.

This is the same McLaren team that groomed him from the tender age of 12 years old. I think everyone could see that Lewis was beginning to alienate himself in recent times, with his frustrations growing race by race whether it was due to (more…)

Predicition: Sergio Pérez to Ferrari

Driving what is considered by most to be a strong midfield car, the Sauber F1, Pérez has put in some exciting performances this season which have not gone unnoticed by the good folks at Scuderia Ferrari.

The reason why this could be the most logical move is that Sergio is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, an initiative from the Italian team whereby it nurtures and grooms its own young talent. The fact that he is at Sauber F1, a team which uses Ferrari engines, is (more…)
