It has been a long time coming. Since the successful launch of Ferrari’s 458 Italia, I can recall quite a few times rumors surfaced about Porsche’s desire to challenge the Italian automaker’s mid-engined beauty.

According to Road & Track, Ford has announced its plans to introduce a 4-door Mustang. Due to the Chevrolet Camaro’s strong sales and increase in market-share, Ford has decided that this “radical” move is the best way forward.

A while back, I wrote about the possible green-lighting of Lamborghini’s 4-door supercar: the Estoque. I also wrote that the chances of a new Lamborghini SUV coming to life were slim if the Estoque made it into production. But now, according to a very trusted source, it seems quite likely that we could be hearing in the next couple of days that the SUV is back on the table, with a concept model ready to be shared with the public.

The people over at Jalopnik swear by it. According to them and their GM insiders, these renderings are exactly what the next-generation, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette (C7) will look like. It must be noted that the trim level shown is the ZR1 package.

The long-awaited Lotus Esprit supercar is coming back to life! The car (rendered above by Auto Express) is expected to make an appearance at the 2010 Paris Auto Show next month, with rumors circling that the car could be powered by the 552-horsepower Lexus LF-A V10 engine in its most “ultimate” form.
